THE CAMERA

My name is Sabrina Minor. I am a freelance photographer located in Fredericksburg, VA and I also travel through the DMV area. I started doing photography in 2023 and my passion grows for it each and every day. It all started freshman year of college where I absolutely had no idea on what I wanted to do. I felt hopeless and was always curious what was I meant to do. I began to really want a camera to use for my natural hair content and some more equipment so I took a gap year and picked up two jobs. This was definitely challenging working everyday but I was determined to get what I wanted and I was willing to put my life on hold until I got it. As time went on I was doing a lot a research on my camera and began to love the creativity of others that was able to capture inspiring images that most wouldn’t even think of. This is when I knew I wanted to start doing photography. I also want to inspire and encourage people that chasing your goals in life is definitely challenging but knowing you’ll do anything to chase that goal is the satisfying part. Im so excited to explore with photography and see what it has in store for me.
